Hello, Crescent!
It's time for the first gameplay update of Crescent TTT! Now that the launch is behind us and we had a chance to gather some data and feedback from you, we made some initial balance changes and adjustments to smooth out the rough edges. The main focus of this patch is weapons, though it also includes a few other small changes and bug fixes.

Weapons
- XM1014
- Damage per bullet increased: 10 -> 12
- Rate of Fire increased: 80 -> 89 RPM
- Nova
- Damage per bullet reduced: 18 -> 16
- Bullets per shot increased: 4 -> 5
- Clip size reduced: 8 -> 7
- AUG
- Damage increased: 19 -> 21
- Reload speed increased: 100% -> 120%
- HUGE
- Recoil reduced: Sideways 0.25u -> 0.2u
- Spread reduced: Base cone 0.02 -> 0.01
- R8 Revolver
- Damage increased: 65 -> 70
- Rate of Fire increased: 100 -> 120 RPM
- Hammer pull time reduced: 0.3 -> 0.15 seconds
- FAMAS
- Burst fire rate increased: 0.7x -> 0.55x
- Improved burst logic to make the weapon more responsive
- Tec-9
- Burst fire rate increased: 0.7x -> 0.55x
- Rate of Fire increased: 414 -> 480 RPM
- Recoil reduced: Rise 0.5u -> 0.4u; Skeet 0.4u -> 0.3u; Sideways 0.4u -> 0.15u
- Spread reduced: Base cone 0.03 -> 0.015
- Improved burst logic to make the weapon more responsive.
- Deagle
- Recoil reduced: Sideways 0.7u -> 0.5u
- Five-SeveN
- Recoil reduces: Sideways 0.3u -> 0.1u
- USP (Silenced Pistol) (T)
- Rate of Fire increased: 158 -> 200
- Gauss Rifle (T)
- Direct damage reduced: 60 -> 40
- Fixed a bug where the explosion could ignite players through walls or obstacles.
- Piercing Bullets (T)
- Overall damage penalty removed: 10% -> 0%
- Knife (T)
- Now plays a sound on deploy
- Guardian Drone (D)
- Bullet damage blocking reduced: 100% -> 66%
- Tazer (D)
- Fixed a bug with tazing Shadowbound players.
- Reapalium's Reaper, Hellix Hellraiser & Terrified's Thrasher
- Replaced the stock primary attack sound with a custom one.
- Fixed a bug where the view model of the weapons sometimes jittered when moving.
- General
- Fixed a bug where sights state change speed was calculated incorrectly.
- Slightly improved the handling of scoped weapons.
WepMods
- Destruction
- Recoil penalty reduced: 30/50/80 -> 20/40/70
- Quick Aim
- Fixed a bug where Quick Aim had no effect at all.
- Long Shot
- Damage bonus increased: 10/20/30 -> 20/30/40
- General
- Improved the tool-tips of various WepMods to better explain their functionality.
Traits
- Efficiency
- Efficiency turned out pretty underwhelming among the Traits we offer, and therefore has been reworked:
- Upon activation, Efficiency reduces the weapon's ammo consumption by 100% for 5 seconds; 30 seconds cooldown

- Bombastic
- No longer provides full ammo when the weapon respawns.
- Instead, it now provides the correct amount of ammo as if the weapon was reloaded.
- Leech
- Damage penalty reduced: 50% -> 25%
- Max heal per shot increased: 10 -> 20
- Duration reduced: 6 -> 5 seconds
- Gravity & Knockback
- Gravity and Knockback have been reworked, both design-wise and technical-wise
- New active effect: activating the weapon causes all shots to apply self-knockback/pull for 10 seconds; 30 seconds cooldown.
- Self knockback/pull is only applied to the attacker if they are airborne. This means you can control whether or not you are affected by jumping for example.
- Targets can now crouch to partially negate some of the force.
- Reworked the code of Gravity and Knockback to improve its handling and fix various issues.
- Gravity and Knockback have been reworked, both design-wise and technical-wise
- General
- Fixed various visual bugs with traits, including weapon glows and view model animations.
- Improved the sound effects of some active Traits.
The Hub
- Inventory
- Sorting items by quality will now place Special items first instead of last.
- Fixed tool-tip prompts for untradeable items.
- Trading and The Market
- Untradeable currencies will no longer show in trades or market listings.
- Fixed a bug where processing fees may sometimes be calculated incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug where the processing fees display did not update when items/currency was removed from the listing panel.
- Fixed some issues with unusual prices for market offers.
- Fixed the "Error M2" bug when creating market listings (please contact the staff team if you lost items due to this)
- Cosmetics
- Added an option to disable rendering of cosmetics on all players.
- Weapons
- StatTrak has been (properly) added to Prestige 1 weapons.
- Buffs
- Activating a buff now announces the action to all players.
- Improved the buff prompts in chat.
Gameplay
- Hitreg
- We have applied some experimental improvements to hitreg. They are still being evaluated, and we will update them as required.
- We increased the tick-rate of our servers from 66 to 100 to further improve responsiveness and hitreg. Players with higher ping will benefit from this the most.
- New: Traitor Warnings
- This is a new feature that helps Traitors coordinate and avoid harming each other.
- Warnings are now printed in chat when fellow Traitors purchase or use dangerous items, such as Jihad Bombs, C4, Gauss Rifles, etc.
- Nearby fellow Traitors who hold an item that can pose immediate danger (for example Jihad Bombs) will now also have a halo displayed around them, to indicate you should get out of their way.
- ID pop-ups
- ID pop-ups have been made larger by default.
- Titles
- Titles now support Emoji (for the appropriate ranks)
- Increased maximum title length to 250 characters (including markups)
- New aliases for markups were added: c (color), si (silk icons)
- Fixed an issue with title change tickets not always applying properly
- Chat
- New aliases for markups were added: c (color), si (silk icons)
- Fixed ban messages breaking the chat format.
- Discord
- Rare drops are now announced to our Discord, so that everyone can celebrate with you or secretly curse you and your luck.
- The new Crescent ranks will now be synced to Discord as well.
- Updated DiscordLink to version 2.0.2
