If you want to go a step further, try and calculate the reload speed.
Here's the formula for including reload speed for dps:
DPS = C∗D/(R+C/P)
C = Clip Size
R = Reload Time
P = RPS
D = Damage
Or
DPS = (C*D*P)/(R+C)
